Zsa Zsa’s was opened by Mo Fraser, in November 2006, under the name of Cha Cha’s House of Hats. On the store’s first anniversary, in November of 2007, it was rechristened as Zsa Zsa’s Hat Salon and given a bold, dynamic new logo. Over its first year, the salon developed a strong and committed following. The store is both unique and daring and has created a strong buzz in Calgary, rapidly becoming a popular destination point for the fashion conscious of Calgary.

Since its opening, Zsa Zsa’s has received great media attention, appearing frequently on local and national fashion magazines, life-style television programs, and fashion shows. The salon has been featured in the weekend fashion edition of Canada’s national newspaper, the Globe and Mail, and in the Calgary Herald; it has been showcased in national and local magazines such as Flare, Avenue, Opulence, Fashion, and Swerve.
